Hotel Atlantis - Eleuthera, Bahamas
A total of 1,175 Acres inclusive of onshore land and offshore water. The Master Plan consist of ocean activities, land activities with hotel, bridges (pedestrian and vehicle), glass tunnel, monorail, heliport, docking area for cruise liners, parking, golf course, equestrian activities, tennis courts, volleyball courts, swimming pool, water sports, floating restaurants, bicycle paths, cottages, water bungaloos, multi-purpose room, dining rooms, welcome center, gazebos, diving, snorkeling, coral reefs and open areas.
The hotel has 1,407,016 Square Feet with 660 studios, (12) one bedroom suite, (2) two bedroom suite and is 13 stories above water and 13 stories below water, made completely of triple glazed glass to withstand hurricanes up to 250 mph wind and laminated Plexiglas, 8 inches minimum to 22 inches maximum to withstand the water pressure.
The hotel consist of a main lobby at the entrance/ bridge level, 26 story atrium, central lobby on each floor with glass elevators and open stairs, enclosed stairs and elevators for service and fire exits, support spaces, dining rooms, casinos, theater, entertainment, aerobic/gym, kitchen, laundry, mechanical/ electrical/ telephone rooms etc.
The hotel will run on solar energy (photovoltaic panels) with generators, desalinization plant to turn salt water into potable water, sewage system will meet EPA requirements.
